A: We specialize in Cabinet Recolors. These are sprayed on, colored coatings that can change that boring golden oak, to an updated thing of beauty. Add new knobs and pulls in brushed silver or flat black and you have a trendy, dramatic change to otherwise dated cabinets without the high cost of refacing or replacing!
A: Lately the trend has been to change color, not the cabinets, making economic sense! At WoodWorks, we do complete home or office cabinet, millwork and interior door color changes as well as simple renewal projects. These types of projects add a re-coopable equity by updating your interior woods style with the trendy, lasting beauty that your home or office deserves. Our latest projects include an old dated walnut to a nice cream, a very busy oak to an espresso, and a very water damaged cherry to white. All had knobs and pulls replaced with updated stylings.
A: Look for someone with an artistic passion, patience, maturity and skilled years of honesty in customer service and on the job skill sets. Make sure to check references and that they are a licensed and bonded business, registered with the state.
A: Secrets? Hmmm... The years of patience it took to turn asphalt to finished wood!!! Seriously, if they only knew the anxiety of meeting them for the first time, convincing someone that hasn't experienced your trades abilities, gaining their trust and ultimately getting the job! Stressful satisfaction!
A: We at WoodWorks all love what we do for a living and that happiness is reflected in the clients eyes upon completion of our work!
A: It's like being an artist. The canvas changes to a new picture everyday!
A: Question: How long does it last? Answer: I can't guarantee lifestyles.
A: I worked a number of times for Mr. Microsoft.. Can't say his name because of non-disclosure agreement, but really don't need to. Very fantastic!
A: That we both want the same result with their project.. Satisfaction and a job well done. We are proud of our work and for what we bring to the public eye.
A: I had been in the service industry for years, owning a small flooring business, and was convinced by a business man I had worked for, who had the idea of dust free wood renewal and needed someone to take it from his head and build it into a nationwide wood renewal franchise, which I did with his help. After 10 years as Master Franchise and Technical Trainer for them, I left to start WoodWorks and am still passionate for what I do to this day!
A: I am proud of them all, but turning golden oak, 'Leave it to Beaver' cabinets into an espresso colored work of art is remarkable!
